The Path to Enlightenment
The path to freedom is actually a spiritual path, not a material one. The aim of the advanced seeker is:
Self Awareness
Willingness to first look within yourself for cause and be willing to scrutinize and understand your thoughts, feelings and actions, in order to remain committed to truth–regardless of your level of discomfort.
Self Acceptance
Releasing all judgments and coming to a place of forgiveness for any perceived shortcomings, lack or failure. This is a necessary step to self awareness. Often we resist self awareness because of the discomfort we feel when we begin to look at our "junk". When we release judgment about what we are becoming aware of, we are willing to look at more of it. The more we are willing to look, the more we will see. Self-awareness grows.
Self love/appreciation
Recognizing and appreciating your divinity, feeling and expressing love and appreciation for Self, and all that you are and have been.
Self Discipline
Commitment to altering your habitual patterns and to your growth in order to change your life.
Self Empowerment
Accepting full responsibility for the experience of your life. Every single second, with no exception.
Self Motivation
The willingness to combat inertia, and become committed to living with purpose.
Self Trust
Honor and trust in your divinity and intuition. Turning to Self before others.
